This is a blog about Critical Pedagogy based on issues discussed by the Critical Pedagogy & the Arts Committee at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. We meet monthly to discuss issues and will post those discussion topics, relevant articles and links, and upcoming events here. We encourage comments to stimulate discussion of these important topics.
We also coordinate the Open Windows Guest Speaker series with artists that come to Lesley and share their experiences and art forms with our students. This is an open forum and the entire Lesley community is invited to join classes in CAL to share in this rich experience.

I enjoyed reading parts of this blog . There was a segment recently on how economics is taught and what needs to be done now and in the near future to prepare the new economists of a highly confusing and unpredictable economy with seemingly no checks and balances. According to the blog, the same agencies that are under scrutiny are scrutinized by people on their payroll. Sounds inefficient at best, underhanded at the least.
